(JJ_05)
A simple design with a robust construction. It is based in components that share the same cross section.
The double seat rails help improve the structural strength while keeping that cross section consistency between all the components. For the most critical joint between the seat rails and the back legs, I used tenons that pass through the legs, wedged and visible from the back, a feature that was characteristic of the Arts and Crafts furniture.
It looks light yet it has a nice weight to it.
Entirely made by Juan. Currently in stock. Available in sets and in other choices of wood.
